Product and site record
Capture model, serial or batch where applicable, variant, installed accessories, installation date and responsible party. Reference the relevant order or work record. Collect site information only where needed for service, with the business’s normal handling rules. A serial photo can be more reliable than a handwritten transcription.
Scope and prerequisite confirmation
Record which tasks were included, which were completed by someone else and any prerequisite still outstanding. Refer to the approved site, utility or mounting requirements. Do not label an installation complete if a necessary acceptance check is pending; make the dependency and responsible owner explicit.
Acceptance checklist
List each product-specific check, its approved source, result, reviewer and supporting evidence where appropriate. Use pass, unresolved or not applicable with an explanation. This article does not supply universal electrical, structural or mechanical acceptance criteria.
