Follow each step carefully.
Unscrew the two pentalobe screws at the phone's lower edge using a screwdriver.
Warm the phone's bottom edge with a heat source to loosen the display adhesive.
Attach a suction cup near the bottom and gently lift to separate the screen slightly.
Slide a plastic pick into the gap to begin cutting through the adhesive.
Run the pick along the left and right edges, limiting insertion depth to 3 mm.
Lift the display slightly and slide the pick across the top edge to free clips and glue.
Swing the screen open from the left side, propping it upright carefully.
Unscrew the two Y000 screws securing the battery connector bracket.
Lift and remove the battery connector cover bracket from the logic board.
Pry up the battery connector gently to disconnect it from the motherboard.
Unscrew the six Y000 screws holding the logic board cover bracket in place.
Lift off the logic board cover bracket to expose internal connectors.
Use a spudger to disconnect the OLED, front sensor, and digitizer cables.
Lift the display assembly away from the phone after disconnecting all cables.
Unscrew the four Y000 screws securing the lower battery connector cover.
Remove the lower battery connector cover to access the battery connectors.
Pry up the battery and Taptic Engine connectors from their sockets carefully.
Pull each adhesive tab slowly to stretch and release the battery from the case.
