Follow each step carefully.
Press and hold the power button, then slide to power off the device.
Use a pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two screws next to the lightning port.
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to warm the edges of the display for easier removal.
Gently insert a plastic opening tool between the display and the frame.
Carefully slide the tool around the edges to loosen the adhesive and lift the display.
Once lifted, disconnect the display cables using a plastic tool.
Lift the display away from the device and set it aside.
