Follow each step carefully.
Press and hold the power button until the 'slide to power off' slider appears. Slide to power off.
Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry off the device case, starting from the bottom edge.
Locate the battery connector and use a spudger to carefully disconnect it from the motherboard.
Using a Pentalobe screwdriver, remove the screws securing the TrueDepth camera assembly.
Gently lift the camera assembly and disconnect the camera cable from the motherboard.
Carefully lift the TrueDepth camera assembly out of its housing.
