Follow each step carefully.
Unscrew the two pentalobe screws located at the phone's bottom edge.
Apply gentle heat to the phone's lower edge to soften the display adhesive.
Attach a suction cup near the bottom and lift to form a gap between screen and case.
Slide a plastic pick into the gap to begin separating the adhesive.
Carefully slide the pick along the left and right edges to slice through adhesive.
Lift the display slightly and insert the pick to cut adhesive along the top edge.
Swing the screen open from the left side, propping it up gently.
Unscrew the battery connector bracket screws using a Y000 screwdriver.
Lift and remove the battery connector cover bracket from the logic board.
Pry up the battery connector gently to disconnect it from the logic board.
Unscrew the screws securing the logic board cover bracket.
Lift off the logic board cover bracket to expose internal connectors.
Pry up the OLED, front sensor, and digitizer cable connectors carefully.
Lift the display assembly away from the phone body.
Unscrew the screws holding the lower battery connector cover.
Take off the lower battery connector cover bracket.
Pry up the lower battery and Taptic Engine flex cables from their sockets.
Slowly pull each battery adhesive tab to release the battery from the case.
