Follow each step carefully.
Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged from the electrical outlet.
Unscrew all screws securing the fan guard to the unit.
Carefully remove the fan guard from the unit.
Unscrew all screws holding the front panel in place.
Carefully lift the front panel away from the unit.
