Follow each step carefully.
Unscrew the two pentalobe screws at the iPhone's bottom edge.
Warm the lower edge of the iPhone to loosen the display adhesive.
Attach a suction cup near the bottom and gently lift to form a gap.
Slide a plastic pick into the gap along the left edge to cut adhesive.
Move the pick up the right side edge to separate adhesive.
Slide the pick across the top edge to release remaining adhesive.
Swing the screen open from the left side and prop it up carefully.
Unscrew the three screws securing the battery connector bracket.
Take off the battery connector bracket to expose the connector.
Pry up the battery connector from the logic board socket.
Unscrew the five screws holding the logic board cover bracket.
Lift off the logic board cover bracket to access cables.
Use a spudger to unplug the LCD and digitizer connectors.
Disconnect the front sensor assembly connector carefully.
Lift and remove the entire display assembly from the iPhone.
Unscrew the five screws securing the bracket below Taptic engine.
Disconnect and remove the Taptic engine and speaker components.
Peel and slowly pull all six adhesive strips from under the battery.
