Route by cabinet configuration
Identify model, width, finish, door or drawer configuration and applicable hardware revision where those affect the instructions. Make the package label easy to compare with the guide. A visual that shows a similar cabinet can conceal a different fitting or orientation.
Show panels and fittings in context
Use the manufacturer’s inventory labels and references. Explain which face or side the image represents and preserve documented distinguishing details. Connect a missing item to the package or hardware-bag record before opening a replacement request.
Separate assembly from installation
A buyer assembling a cabinet box needs a different scope from an installer handling layout or mounting. Link to the appropriate approved process and its responsible role. Do not infer wall, anchoring or load requirements from a 3D model.
Worked example: a drawer-slide question
Illustrative flow: a customer selects the illustrated slide and the cabinet variant, then sees the applicable approved assembly step. If the fitting differs from the source, the next action collects a photo and variant for confirmation. The support record retains the side and reference rather than assuming all slides are interchangeable.
